The raspberry hibiscus flavor gives just enough sweetness to balance the mate flavor and makes for a quite refreshing treat.  As much as the flavor, the stimulant effect packs a nice boost qualitatively different from caffeine, and more effective for the afternoon fatigue that might plague one after a night of moderate drinking.
